CNE Lecture: Update Series in Prostate Cancer (Part 2) 2018
Hong Kong College of Urological Nursing endeavours to run ongoing CNE lecture series for nurses over the years, in addition to the summer Annual Scientific Meeting and the occasional ad hoc themed symposia and workshops. Following the success of seven successive CNE Lecture Series on ‘Uro-Radiology’, ‘Uro-Infection’, ‘Neuro-Urology and Voiding Dysfunction’, ‘Prostate Care’, ‘Uro-oncology & Kidney Tumour’, ‘Management of Bladder Cancer’ and “Prostate Cancer (Part 1)”, the College will embark on the eighth series in the near future. The theme of the coming CNE Lecture Series will be a continuation of the ongoing curriculum; the topic will be ‘Prostate Cancer (Part 2)’, focusing on the management of patients with advanced prostate cancer.
Objective
The lectures aim to provide basic revision cum update information, to serve the prime objectives of Continuing Nursing Education.
Target Candidates
These lectures are targeted at all nurses whose jobs are related to urology, or nurses who are simply interested in urology, particularly those who are for one reason or another unable to enroll onto a formal course in urological nursing

New radiological investigations for prostate cancer
Surgery and oncological therapies for advanced prostate cancer
Role of urologists, oncologists, nurses, and allied health professionals in managing patients with advanced prostate cancer

This module will consist of one half-day session plus another whole-day session:
